Cluster Deployment Configuration

This section contains configuration items related to platform cluster deployment. The main items are:

  • Additional hosts to add to /etc/hosts: The /etc/hosts file is a local hostname resolution file that maps hostnames to IP addresses. This setting is used to add extra host entries for the platform cluster. For example, if services inside the cluster need to be accessed by domain name but no DNS service is deployed, you can use this option for hostname resolution.

  • Groups to configure as sudoers: This setting defines the list of groups that should be configured as sudoers in the platform cluster. Users in those groups can run sudo commands inside the cluster.
