Clipboard and File Transfer

To improve user experience, FCP integrates clipboard sharing and file transfer into WebVNC and WebSSH sessions. Click the icons on the right side of the session window to open the panel and use these features.

tip

• Clipboard sharing and file transfer require the corresponding permissions.
• If you encounter issues, contact your administrator to check the configuration.

Clipboard

Clipboard sharing allows you to copy and paste text between your local computer and the remote desktop. For example, you can copy text locally and paste it into an application on the remote desktop (and vice versa).

How to use:

1. Click the clipboard icon on the right side of the session window to open the clipboard panel.
2. Copy text on your local computer or on the remote desktop.
3. The copied text will appear in the clipboard panel.
4. Click the text in the clipboard panel to paste it to the target location.

File Transfer

File transfer allows you to move files between your local computer and the remote desktop. For example, you can upload files from your local computer to the remote desktop, or download files from the remote desktop to your local computer.

How to use:

1. Click the file transfer icon on the right side of the session window to open the file transfer panel.
2. Upload:
   • Click Upload and select a file from your local computer.
   • The file will be uploaded to the specified directory on the remote side.
3. Download:
   • Select a file in the file transfer panel.
   • Click Download to save it to your local computer.
