Cluster HA

Task mode does not support Cluster HA.

Limits​

  • To enable this feature, customers must provide a highly available file system.
  • Cluster HA can be enabled/disabled during deployment, and can also be enabled during upgrades.
  • Only Fsched scheduler clusters support Cluster HA. Other cluster types (including None) do not.

How to use​

Prerequisites:

  • Cluster HA is enabled in the environment.

Create a cluster:

  • You can configure multiple head nodes when creating a cluster.
  • Head node count defaults to 1 and can be set to 1 to 99.
  • If multiple head nodes are configured, HA mode is enabled automatically.

Cluster configuration:

  • When there is only 1 head node, you can add additional head nodes (2 or more, up to 99).
  • When there are 2 or more head nodes, you can power off or release any head node.
  • At least 1 head node must remain. When only 1 head node remains, powering off and releasing are not allowed.
