Desktop list
Field descriptions:
- Desktop ID: Auto-generated desktop ID.
- Desktop name: Desktop name.
- Status: Desktop status such as Running or Released (same as None cluster status). When an error occurs, a trigger icon appears next to the status; it is hidden after recovery.
- Monitoring & alerts: Shortcut to monitoring or alerts pages; automatically selects the desktop as the target object.
- Node count: Number of running nodes in the desktop.
- Active connections: Number of active connections for the desktop.
- Created at: Creation time.
- Username: Creator of the desktop.
Note: If a billing indicator appears before the desktop ID, it means there are machines in this desktop that are still billed while powered off.
Actions:
- Power on/off: You can power off when running, and power on when powered off.
- Schedule power-off while powering off: choose immediate power-off or scheduled power-off; set the scheduled time.
- Schedule power-off while powering on: set a shutdown time (default: not set). If enabled, specify the shutdown time.
- Release (single/batch): Two behaviors:
- Release: Releases all dynamic nodes in the desktop by default, including their system volumes. Released dynamic nodes stop billing and cannot be recovered. You can optionally release static pay-as-you-go nodes.
- Remove: Removes all static nodes from the desktop. The desktop clears node configuration. Removed nodes can be configured into a new cluster later.
- Delete: When a desktop is in Released status, the desktop record can be deleted.
- Remote control: Supports WebSSH, WebVNC, WebRDP, and retrieving VNC client connection info. If multiple desktop nodes exist, you can choose a specific node to start a connection.
Desktop overview
Click a desktop name to open its overview page.
- Desktop name
- Image: Image selected when creating the desktop.
- Instance type: Instance type selected when creating the desktop.
- Desktop count: Number of running desktop nodes.
- Active connections: Number of active sessions.
- Subnet: Click to open subnet details.
- Security group: Click to open security group details.
- System disk: System disk size configured when creating the desktop.
- Username: Creator.

- Scheduled shutdown: On/off. When enabled, you can cancel scheduled shutdown in the details page.
- Error messages:
- Time: Time when the error was triggered. If the same error occurs repeatedly, the count increases and time updates to the latest.
- Object: Target object of the error. Cluster-level errors target the cluster; node-level errors target node ID; file-system-level errors target file system; desktop-level errors target the desktop.
- Count: Number of occurrences for the same error.
- Reason: Detailed error message.
Note: Image, instance type, subnet, and system disk are default parameters for this desktop, and are used as defaults when creating nodes under the desktop.
Node list
Field descriptions:
- Node ID: Same as cluster node ID.
- Host name
- Node status: Same as cluster node status.
- Monitoring & alerts: Shortcut to monitoring or alerts page with the node selected.
- IP: Node IP address.
- Image: Image used to create the node.
- Instance type
- Subnet
- System disk: Current system disk capacity.
- Connection status: Disconnected/Connected. Indicates whether there is an active session connected to the node.
- Created at
Note: If a billing indicator appears before the node ID, it means the node is still billed while powered off.
Actions:
- Power on/off: Same as cluster node power operations.
- Image: Same as cluster node image operations.
- Edit: Same as cluster node edit operations (edit host name and instance type).
- Release: Same as cluster node release operations.
- Bulk actions: Same as cluster node bulk actions.
Monitoring and alerts
Desktop details show host-level resource status for desktop nodes.
Monitoring Service shows host monitoring and service monitoring for desktop nodes.
You can configure host and service alert policies for desktop clusters in Alert Service.
Connection sessions
After a user creates a session, the system automatically creates a session record.
Field descriptions:
- Session ID: Session record ID.
- Node ID: Node where the session is created.
- Protocol: VNC (supports up to 100 VNC connections), SSH, or RDP.
- Username: User who created the session.
- Created at: Session creation time.
Actions:
- Disconnect: Available when the session is connected.
- Bulk disconnect: Disconnect multiple sessions.
Supports search and sorting by username, protocol, creation time (UTC+8), and node status.
Mount configuration
You can configure global mounts for the entire desktop. For details, see Mount Management.
Access control
You can share desktops with other users.
When sharing a desktop, choose Read or Read/Write permission.
- Read: The user can view the desktop list and use remote control to obtain remote sessions, but cannot open desktop details to view overview/management/sessions/mount config/remote control details, and cannot release or power off the desktop.
- Read/Write: The user can manage the desktop, view overview/management/sessions/remote control, add desktops, configure mounts, and can release and power off the desktop.
Security group
For details, see Security Groups.
This page shows the security group rules for the desktop cluster and supports editing security group rules.
