Node Deployment Guide

Terms

Static node

A node to be registered with the platform.

Core node

The management node where Fastone services run.

Prerequisites

Fastone platform services have already been deployed and are running properly.

Network requirements

Configure the network according to the static-node section in the network planning document: FCP Product Network Planning

Hardware requirements

There are no special hardware requirements.

Supported operating systems

The FCP platform supports registering both Linux and Windows nodes. See this document for OS versions supported by clusters, and this document for OS versions supported by desktops.

Dependency requirements

Install dependencies on the static node by following the minimum dependency installation guide:

Add the static node in Host Management on the Fastone platform

Expected Result

The added static node appears normally in Host Management, and the node status is Running.
